Prayer Requests from Global Renewal
- Protection and safety for all the children and staff, there are 11 girls in the Safe House now. Spiritual growth and healing for the children.
- Wisdom to start a self-sufficient business to support the ministry. GR wants to start a T-shirt printing business and buy a DTF printer.
- Financial provision and faithful sponsors. Funds to repair and improve the Community Learning Center in the village. GR wants to paint the wall and fix the window.
- Strength, wisdom and unity for leaders and staff.
- Positive and greater impact and good relationships in the community. GR is serving 3 communities now.

JAPAN
Louis & Christina Lau - March Updated
- Pray for the take off for the video project in reaching the hikikomoris (shut-ins) as a few parties sort out the practicalities.
- Pray for Jonathan Koh from WEFC who joins K2 to help in the after school care with 50 kids from April 2 - 25. He has to give three evangelistic messages and is also sharing his testimony in church service on April 12. Pray also for the salvation of Daiichi, Natsuko and Kei in our K2 DBS (Discovery Bible Studies), and the ministry of Masami and Naomi as they lead two different DBS groups.
- Pray for the Spirit's anointing and wisdom on Louis, who is preaching at OMF prayer day (April 6) and at JCG service (April 26).
- From April 2nd, the Lazarus ministry to the homeless/poor will transit to discussion groups after the message. Pray for these interactions and wisdom for volunteers to facilitate the groupsâ discussions.
- Continue to pray for Chrisâ mum as she encounters Godâs word.
KURDISTAN
Titus & Ginny - No new updates
- Prayer for Titus' 2nd knee operation on March 26. Pray for a speedy recovery and that the swelling on both knees will subside before we fly back on April 14.
- Pray for safe flight and protection from God.
- Pray for God's favour to help us find a right place to relocate.
- Pray for good fellowship with our children when we are here from March 22.
Naz & Arlene - March Updated
- We are able to go home as planned. If we have to take the alternate route, it can be very time consuming and stressful.
- Pray for safety and protection for the people in Iraq. They are caught in the wider conflict in the US, Israel and Iran war.
SINGAPORE
Leonard & Bettina Leow - March Updated
- MobComm26 conference in North Cyprus (March 2-6): The conference provided much opportunities to connect and engage with other SIM mobilisers and communicators. Pray that they will be effective in carrying out their roles.
- By the Lordâs grace, Leonard was able to book a costly 1-way flight after the conference back from Istanbul to SG on March 6 when the Qatar and Iraq airspaces were closed due to the ME conflict. Do pray that he will be able to claim from his travel insurance.
- We celebrated Jeremy and Janessaâs wedding last weekend. Thank the Lord for bringing them together. Pray that they will look to and depend on the Lord as they begin their new life journey together.
- Bettina will be having her review with her cardiologist on March 27 regarding her bradycardia (low heart rate) condition. Pray that there will be indication of improvement of her condition so that she doesnât have to undergo a pacemaker procedure.
THAILAND
Sawa Unreached People Group - March Updated
- Ask for Godâs divine power that raises Jesus from death to break through the forces of darkness at work in the communities.
- Pray that more Sawa people will read and hear the story of Jesus; pray that their hearts will be touched as they read and listen and begin to experience Godâs power to meet their needs.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to grant wisdom and favor to missions agencies and workers focusing on this people group.
Sawa Conference
- Ask for Godâs divine grace, guidance and goodness to all coming for the Sawa Conference that everyone would be encouraged, challenged and be shaken up by the Holy Spirit to bring the gospel to Sawa districts and for Sawa people to respond readily to the gospel and testimonies.
- Pray for Pastor C (Sawa believer) and Pastor M (Thai) who are locals to deliver the message with Godâs purpose in mind and the workshops speakers to introduce ideas to churches, believers and missionaries to intentionally include Sawa in the outreach strategies.
- Pray for protection and anointing on all those joining the Sawa conference (March 25-27) and the Sawa mission trip post conference (March 27-29), to be a vessel for the Lord to use so that God alone is glorified.
TIMOR-LESTE
Guanwen & Rachel Lee - March Updated
- Pray against the schemes of the evil one, and against prevention and delay the critical new ministry build, wisdom in selecting a reliable contractor. For the balance of Ministry pivot funds needed to be fully raised in God's timing, God's way.
- Spiritual covering over us and the believers from the ex-Renovar staff team, including those we have rehired and are currently in training to prepare for cafe opening.
- Physical rest and spiritual protection over our health, travels and home during the rainy season, especially for healing for Rachel's body (widespread eczema) and dealing with immense emotional stress. We have been attacked by numerous rounds of ongoing local witchcraft curses since Dec 2025.
- Provision of trusted peer community for our girls and more regular homeschooling schedule.
WEFC PARTNER MISSIONARIES
Ps Philip Yang (Malaysia) - March Updated
- Thank you for your prayers! I have returned safely from Europe on March 13 following the international mobilisation meeting and visioning journey.
- Thank God for the progress in my ministry since I returned from the conference, including a missions meeting on March 17 and two sermons in Brunei this past weekend. Do pray for my upcoming schedule, including a prayer meeting (March 25-26) for online CCEW cross-cultural opportunity, and a sharing session at IDMC on March 27.
- I will be travelling to China from April 1-20 to discuss partnerships with the relevant leaders there. Pray that God will protect and ensure everything goes smoothly and peacefully.
- Pray also that I may have the wisdom of God as I supervise two couples preparing for missionary work.
Mindy Zhong (Singapore) - March Updated
- This year will involve Rallying Hearts for Central Asia events (prayer sessions, dinners, and the one-day gathering). Pray that God will bring the right people to form the organising team. I will be mainly involved in administrative work and will also serve as part of the organising team.
- Pray for wisdom, joy, and grace as I serve in the administrative role supporting the different departments.
- Do pray for Owenâs health as he has been falling sick. Also to protect Nathaniel and myself from falling sick too.
Gladys (South-East Asia) - March Updated
- Praise God that all the speaking engagements went well! Pray for continuing improvements in the local language and sermon translations at two churches in April (local language to Mandarin).
- Praise for a new house! Pray for practical help for the final repairs and moving in the next two weeks! Pray for good relationships with new neighbors and landlords.
- Pray for resumed studies with Ag who's been away for 4 months. Pray for hunger for God and good team work as I partner with others in discipling Ag.
- From April 11-15, a family will be visiting as part of their vision trip. God willing, they would hear the call to come back and join me long-term! Pray for wisdom and stamina to host them well.
Donald & Sandra Leow (USA) - March Updated
- Thank God we made it safely there and back to the Christian WorldView Film Festival held at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, GA. Please pray for the seeds of missions planted in those who attended Donaldâs workshop.
- We have been engaged to help produce the story of founder China Inland Mission (now OMF), Hudson Taylor. The pre-production and production is scheduled during June to September. Please pray with us as the crew are mostly non-believers. The producers and directors want to set a Christian example for them but at the same time expect work done in excellence. Pray also for Donald as he helps the director visualise the China scenes and work with Chinese actors. Pray also for casting (hiring of actors). We are are trying to hire some well known Asian actors/actresses. Our prayers are that this film will bring about the next wave of full time missionaries.
- Our âRe-entry Permitâ to US Immigration due to our need to be out of the country for more than 6 months this year to help with the Hudson Taylor movie was approved. Thank God!
- Please pray for the release of Once Upon a Time in Vietnam. We sent the film to a cinema distributor and pray they will like the film enough to release it in the cinemas here in America. If this happens, it will help the worldwide distribution a lot.
