• Praise God for leading us to find a Project Manager (Mr Teoh), who will lead and coordinate all upcoming phases of restoration together with our Professional Engineer (Mr Lee). 
• Roof repair works will begin in the coming weeks. 
• Level 3 repairs have been progressing well. As such, we are hopeful that we can resume onsite worship in Hebron Hall in December. Look out for more details this Sunday!

• Pray that God will guide us in finding a reliable main contractor for Level 4 works.

• Pray for heart preparation for all of us as we return onsite, that we will come together to worship the Lord with awe, love, thanksgiving and joy for all that He has done!

• We are now in Phase 2B of our restoration work. 
  • The structural assessment of our roof and building has been completed, and the repair works to be done have been approved by BCA.  
  • All chairs and the carpet in Bethel Hall have been removed in preparation for the repairs. 
  • We will soon begin the process of engaging a main contractor for the repair works. 
• Level 3 repairs will commence in 1-2 weeks. 
• All ministry activities should continue offsite unless otherwise informed.

• We are in the midst of removing, categorizing and storing the chairs salvaged from Bethel Hall. Most of the chairs require reupholstery, while some will be sent for deep cleaning. 
• We will also need to remove the carpet in Bethel Hall before work on the roof can commence. 
• All ministry activities should continue offsite unless otherwise informed.

• Pray for staff members Annie, Jim, Asher and members of the Board as they meet with the respective parties, such as our Professional Engineer (PE), Loss Adjustor (LA), and representatives from the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) to work through the necessary processes of approval, assessments and planning. 
• Pray for assessment and repair of the electrical wiring work and air-con piping for Level 3. We hope to restore Level 3 as soon as possible, so that onsite meetings in Hebron Hall can resume. 

• 我们正在拆除、分类并存储从四楼崇拜厅伯特利（Bethel）救出的椅子。大部分椅子需要重新包裹，而一些椅子将送去深度清洁。

• We are currently in Phase 2A and moving into Phase 2B of our restoration process.   
• Decontamination work began on 12 Oct. This entails the thorough cleaning of Bethel and the auxilliary areas of any remaining soot, as well as the stairwells from Levels 1-4. 
• We hope to move into Phase 2C in the coming few weeks to commence on roof works. Repairing the roof is the critical first step in the restoration work, estimated to take four months, after which other repairs on Level 4 can proceed.  
• We give thanks that fire-retardant materials used in making of Bethel Hall's carpet and chairs helped to contain the fire. About 90% of the chairs in Bethel have been salvaged and will be either re-upholstered or cleaned for future use.   

• All ministry activities should continue offsite unless otherwise informed.    
• Little Olive Tree@Woodlands has ceased its operations at WEFC as of 12 Oct, as the premises are potentially unsafe for preschool operations due to reconstruction work and the repair timeline cannot be guaranteed at this point. Alternative arrangements have been made for the temporary placement of the children at other LOT branches.   
• His Presence Church will also be conducting their services at alternative locations until further notice.   

• Seek God for what He is saying to us as a church. Feedback from our first listening prayer is that many resonated with this crisis being a refining process, and the importance of unity, humility and renewed vision as one family. 
• Pray for the completion of decontamination so that we can safely use Level 2. 
• Do uphold Little Olive Tree and Truth Baptist Church in prayer, as they go through this painful time of ceasing operations for the kindergarten. Pray for the families as they look for alternative arrangements for their children.

• 我们目前正在进行修复工程的第 2A 阶段，并即将进入第 2B 阶段。新加坡建设局（BCA）发布的第四层封闭令仍然有效。

• At present, the official closure order issued for Level 4 by BCA remains in force. 
• We are currently at Phase 2A of our church restoration process. (Phases described below)
• The full renovation process for Level 4 is estimated to take around 1 year to complete. The restoration work on Level 3 is estimated to take around 3 months to complete.  
• In the interim, only authorised personnel are allowed to access Levels 3 and 4. 
• All ministry activities should continue offsite unless otherwise informed by your ministry leaders.

• On 3 Oct, Building and Construction Authority (BCA) issued a closure order, restricting access to only Level 4. Access is strictly limited to the parties involved in the repair works, who require approval from the professional engineer (PE). 
• A professional restoration company is currently drying out the water in Bethel and on Level 3 that had been left from firefighting. Works to restore the power supply on Level 3 are also underway. 
• Some of the items that survived the fire in Bethel have been retrieved.  
• Investigations and evaluation by the insurance company for damages are ongoing. Continue to pray for a favourable outcome. 

• Onsite services remain on hold. Church Online will continue as usual. 
• Certain activities on Levels 1 and 2 may resume from next week, however ministry activities will largely remain offsite, unless otherwise informed by your ministry leaders. Please note that there is strictly no access to Level 4 until further notice. 
• Please refrain from coming to church to “take a look” due to ongoing cleaning and restoration works.

• SCDF completed checks on 29 Sep; no signs of re-ignition.
• Police have ruled out criminal activity.
• A professional engineer has inspected our premises to assess structural integrity and submitted the inspection report to the Building & Construction Authority (BCA). We are now waiting for BCA to issue the order that permits reopening our building for limited access (for repair works to be carried out).
• The insurance company conducted an on-site assessment today (1 Oct). It may take several months before we receive the results of their evaluation. 

• Bethel Hall is significantly damaged, requiring extensive renovation. One lift is non-operational. Electrical supply to Levels 3 & 4 need to be restored.
• General cleaning has commenced in Cana Hall. Wherever possible, the cleaning company will conduct cleaning works on affected areas between Levels 1 to 3.
• Little Olive Tree Preschool Woodlands (LOT) has temporarily moved to its Fajar branch.

• Onsite services and ministry activities are suspended until further notice. Church Online continues as usual.
• Ministry activities that can be conducted offsite will continue as planned, unless otherwise informed.

• 新加坡民防部队（SCDF）已于 9 月 29 日完成检查；未发现复燃迹象。
• 警方已排除刑事活动的可能性。

• Building damage: Pray that any damage is limited to just Level 4, and that Level 3 is not affected.
• Leadership & clarity: Pray for clarity, courage, and unity as our leaders and staff assess the situation and discern the next steps for restoration.
• Interim planning: Pray for wisdom and strength as our teams make plans for the interim, especially concerning worship services, Sunday School, and other ministries that meet onsite.
• Insurance process: Pray for favour and wisdom in the processing of insurance claims related to the building damage.
• Other users of our premises: Lift up the other organisations who share our space (Little Olive Tree Preschool, His Presence Church), that they will have wisdom as they navigate changes and care for their communities.
