August Jericho Prayer

The Singapore Dream
17 Aug • 10.30am • Bethel

What is God's plan and vision for Singapore? Join us for Jericho Prayer next week after the 9am service. Let's listen together for God's heart for Singapore, and make that vision the dream for our nation.

Parents, you can bring your children (Primary 1-6) to Galilee 2 (level 2) after Sunday School to experience their own time of Jericho Prayer with their friends.

SHAPED to Serve

Each of us has been uniquely “created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). He has given us talents, gifts and resources to be used for His glory. Take the S.H.A.P.E. Test and discover how you can be a joyful steward whom God can use to transform lives — in church, in the community or around the world!
Some ministries currently have more urgent need for volunteers than other ministries. Use the "I Want to Serve!" form to indicate your interest to serve in one of these areas.
For those of us who are currently serving in multiple ministries, you may be overly stretched. We encourage you to also take some time to seek the Lord on where He is calling you to focus on. You may want to take the S.H.A.P.E. Test to consider how He has wired you, and speak to your ministry leader to explore different options.

Woodlands Social Centre: Children's Carnival 2025

4 Oct 2025 • 10am - 3pm • Woodlands Sports Pavilion

Woodlands Social Centre (WSC) is bringing the Children's Carnival back again this year on 4th October. With the theme Celebrating Children, Cherishing Families, the carnival seeks to provide opportunities for families to build relationships, celebrate one another, and create happy memories together. Here are two ways you can support the carnival this year!
Donate
Firstly, you can help WSC reach their Faith Goal of $40,000 for the carnival. These funds will give families and young children from low-income households the opportunity to attend the carnival and have fun together.
Volunteer
Secondly, you can volunteer again for the carnival! There are a few roles available, such as manning the game or food booths, or helping with transport and logistics.
Whether it's through making a donation or volunteering your time and effort, thank you for supporting WSC. Let's all play our part to bless our community!

Sign up soon as registration closes on 31 August!

HANDS-ON Evangelism
24 Aug - 28 Sept • 9 - 11am • Jordan 9
As God's children, sharing the Good News should be the easiest and most natural thing for us to do, but the reality is many of us don't have the confidence to do so or know where to begin. Join us to better understand what the Good News is for yourself, and gain handles to share the Good News through sharing your own testimony, crafting a simple gospel presentation and tackling some common questions non-Christians might ask.
Ask Me Anything
7 Sept • 1.30 - 3pm • Jordan 8

Grow: Ask Me Anything is a bi-monthly, open forum where you can ask anything — and we mean anything! Join us for an open, free-flowing forum-style conversations where no question is off-limits, no topic too big or too small.

Sit down with a pastor, elders, or special guest, and have real, honest discussions about theology, faith, life’s challenges, culture, and beyond. Whether you’re wrestling with doubts, seeking practical wisdom, or just curious about something new, this is a space for curiosity, community, and connection.
Blessed Are The Peacemakers
6 - 20 Sept • 2 - 4.30pm • Conference 2

Conflict is inevitable in life, but as followers of Christ, we are called to respond differently - bringing peace, healing, and restoration. Explore what the Bible teaches about managing conflict in ways that honour God and build relationships. Rooted in Scripture, this class will offer practical tools through the application of biblical principles and Enneagram training to address disagreements, manage misunderstandings, and pursue reconciliation with humility and grace. Do note that there is an additional fee of US$15.00 per person for the Enneagram test.
How To Study The Bible
7 - 28 Sept • 1.30 - 4.30pm • Conference 2

As a believer, are you confident in reading and studying Scripture for yourself? How to Study the Bible will help you understand God's Word, be grounded in the Truth and not be swayed by false teachings. Come and learn how to understand and apply any passage of Scripture using an inductive Bible study framework.
