YOUTH MINISTRY
2025 was an exciting year for the Youth Ministry. We saw an energetic group of P6-ers graduate from Sunday School, saw 8 of our youths get baptized, welcomed at least 3 new youths into the family of God and saw our LCGs grow with several newcomers and youths previously on the fringe of the group who decided to get better connected! We also give thanks to God for some of the relational struggles a few groups had this year which, in Godâs perfect plan, resulted in groups bonding closer. Thank God for preserving the unity within Youth Ministry.Â
In 2026, the Youth LCGs will be walking through the book of Revelation. We pray that the Spirit will revolutionize the youthsâ walk with King Jesus. Pray also for the provision of LCG leaders for the newly-minted Sec 1 CG. Continue to ask God to multiply, unite and shape our young people into Christlikeness for the advancement of the Kingdom!Â
Youth Camp
Our youth camp, Strava, was a faith-growing opportunity. Though initially concerned that camp would be âlameâ because it pivoted to be a stay-out camp, the young camp committee, led by Sandra Loh, Shaun Ng and Janice Lim, were challenged to depend on God and not on their own plans. Running the race by faith like the heroes of Hebrews 11 was the camp theme and all the uncertainty and change because of the fire meant the camp committee learnt this lesson firsthand.Â

May the next generation indeed run the race for Jesus!
Mission Trip
In line with bringing the Young Adult and Youth (YAY) ministries into greater synergy, we capped the year with a YAY missions trip to Minamata, Japan where God was pleased to use our five loaves and two fish to encourage the church there and bring the gospel to some who heard it for the first time. We seek to increase our missions engagement across the Youth and Pathmaker ministries in the year ahead
PATHMAKERS
2025 was a year of rest, stability, and deepening relationships for PathMakers. By yearâs end, the ministry comprised six active Life Change Groups (LCGs) with about 95 regular participants, while one group decided to remain within the Chinese LCG ministry.
As these groups strengthened their core communities, we continued bridging the gap between PathMakers and the Youth ministry. This effort culminated in the intergenerational YAY (Young Adults & Youth) Retreat in Augustâa defining highlight of the year. Planned and executed entirely by YAY leaders, the retreat showcased the capacity of our young adults to lead with initiative, unity, and care when given support. It also surfaced valuable insights through asset mapping, which will guide future ministry development.
Thank God for a fun and meaningful time at our YAY Retreat in August!
Leadership growth was another key encouragement. Nineteen out of twenty-one leaders completed their two-year Grow Leaders 1 (GL1) journey, and many have already stepped into greater responsibilities across the church.
At the same time, we recognize the challenges of increasing social media pressures, developing theological foundations, and mental health challenges among our young adults. While 2025 was largely a year of inward consolidation with limited corporate engagement in mission, we sense a clear call for 2026: to cultivate a missional posture as an essential expression of discipleship. We trust that God will use the depth He has formed among us for His purposes beyond ourselves.
MARRIAGE
Marriage Enrichment Weekend
Married couples enjoyed a refreshing weekend together at a beach resort in Desaru, joining 30 other couples for a time of connection and renewal. David and Amy Ang shared their powerful testimony of how God restored their marriage, bringing them âBack to the Gardenââa place of forgiveness and restoration. The retreat was made vibrant and engaging by a dynamic planning committee of young couples whose creativity and energy set the tone for the event. With the church retreat scheduled for 2026, there will be no Marriage Enrichment Weekend this year, but we eagerly anticipate the next one in 2027.
Marriage Preparation Course: The Four Pillars of Marriage
Nine young couples embarked on a five-week journey through The Four Pillars of Marriage, guided by our dedicated Marriage Mentors. Couples explored real-life challenges and shared meaningful conversations, enriched by inspiring stories from mentorsâ own experiences.
Marriage Mentoring (MM) and MM Training
In 2025, we launched an initiative to check in with couples married between 4â6 years, pairing them with marriage mentors for ongoing support and relationship building. Nine couples participated and expressed appreciation for this engagement. In 2026, we will extend this effort to couples married for 8â12 years.Â
As the Lord provides, we hope to train more marriage mentors to serve both our church and the wider community.
PARENTING
We launched an eight-month pilot program for parents, meeting twice monthlyâone session for discussion and another for family outings. Using The Art of Parenting by Family Life, four couples participated under the guidance of facilitators Melvyn & Dorothea, and Boon Keng & Anna. We are grateful for many young ones who assisted with childcare during the discussion sessions. While attendance was occasionally affected by the participantsâ life stage demands, we are grateful for their commitment to fostering relationships and mutual care beyond the classroom.
MEN'S MINISTRY
We are grateful to God for the consistent Saturday morning attendance and look forward to partnering with Menâs Ministry Network Singapore in 2026 to produce a video series for men.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
In lieu of the previously monthly events, the ministry organized a series of quarterly events aimed at fostering community and promoting holistic well-being â Nagomi Art (Jan-Mar), Hand Care (Apr-Jun) and Personal Wellbeing (Jul-Sept). Unfortunately, the planned Thanksgiving Gathering in the fourth quarter was cancelled due to the church building being unavailable after the fire.
The ladies also contributed to broader church initiatives, including the preparation of gifts for Motherâs Day. Looking ahead, the ministry remains committed to its mission and anticipates expanding outreach and engagement in 2026.
SENIORS
Love The Elderly
We are grateful for the 23 dedicated volunteers who served weekly at Kopi Corner, Sri Narayana (Woodlands Community for the Elderly), Woodlands Social Centre, and other events. We also appreciated the support from a Pathmaker LCG when additional help was needed and look forward to an Adult LCG joining our ministry in 2026.Â
Kopi Corner continued to bring joy to our seniors, offering weekly opportunities for fellowship over drinks and snacks. Activities such as small projects and games help strengthen their minds and motor skills. We remain hopeful that, with Godâs provision and the support of our community, these programs will be a significant impact on our seniorsâ lives.

JOYFUL MINISTRY
Due to Ps Hoâs retirement in 2025, his Joyful Ministry duties were officially handed over to Pastor Daniel in October.
Joyful Fellowship
After the fire, we had to find ways to help our elderly Chinese members resume worship and community life. It was encouraging to see leaders and volunteers stepping up to help those in need. We arranged 3 venues at leaders and volunteersâ homes to house online worship services.
Attending Church Online at a church member's home after the fire
We also ramped up home-visitation to encourage elderly members who had stopped participating in our worship services because they were unable to travel or were not able to even watch online services due to various limitations. One of the biggest problems we faced was that some of our at some elderly members refused to answer phone calls due to a fear of scammers. This will be one area we will tackle in 2026.
Joyful Weekend
We conducted 8 sessions of Joyful Weekend in 2025, including a Mid-Autumn celebration in September (outreach), before we had to put our activities on hold due to the fire. Each session consisted of activities (bonsai, calligraphy, Praise Dance, Chinese chess, IQ games, etc) and a short sharing session. The sharing sessions were mainly based on the fruit of the Holy Spirit. They were good reminders for Christians and a refreshing approach for new friends to find out more about our faith.

Vineyard Fellowship
In 2025, we focused a lot on Bible reading, including having a Bible-reading/sharing session on Thursday afternoons. We also led online Bible reading groups â one for men and one for the ladies. Most who attended found these sessions useful. In addition, we finished a book study on the spiritual life during the year.
Moving forward, Vineyard Fellowship will continue but with a slight change in direction. Itâs primary purpose will be to plan activities for members nearing retirement age or just entering retirement. Our goal is to ease the fear of transition that some of them may face in joining Joyful Fellowship and/or Joyful Ministry.
A big thank you for our dedicated volunteers who made 2025 a fruitful and impactful year. Most of all, we thank God, for His blessings are sufficient for us.
